Ancient Web: Michelle Hoyle’s History of Computing Science Became a Citation That Refused to Die

The project is cited in academic reading lists as dating from roughly 1994 through 2006. It is a network of mathematics, engineering, punched cards, mechanical devices, logic, wartime projects and competing ideas about what a computer should be. Hypertext is a natural way to wander through that mess.
