Twenty-six years of packaged-food archaeology

A current food site usually chases whatever product launched last week.

Taquitos.net accidentally became something else: a chronological archive of what convenience-store shelves looked like over decades.

Old reviews preserve discontinued flavors, forgotten brands, packaging photos, novelty products, regional snacks, and limited editions that may have existed for only a few months. The site records major brands such as Lay’s, Doritos, Pringles, Cheetos, Oreo, and Ruffles alongside products most people saw once and never again.
