Ancient Web: Cambridge Clarion measured a solar

kettle—including its failures

Stephen Hewitt’s trough records dimensions, thermocouple readings, heating curves, and imperfect efficiency estimates. It also admits the prototype can eject hot water and is not safe for boiling. That’s the useful part: a public experiment log preserves measurements and hazards instead of cropping everything into a success story. Don’t reproduce the unsafe design.
