24,293 candidate Nostr accounts investigated; 1,000 selected through activity, authenticity, and quality screening. Spam, automated accounts, and explicit content were screened out according to the documented methodology below. The result is a practical starting point for discovering worthwhile people on Nostr.

The October 24, 2026 UTC research snapshot spans Bitcoin, Nostr, open-source technology, creative interests, and everyday conversation. Browse for people who interest you and choose whom to follow. This is a discovery collection, not a measured ranking of Nostr's most influential users.

**What 2,959 sats unlocks**

The complete selection of 1,000 unique accounts, including the 10 free examples below, in three copyable formats:

- Original lowercase hexadecimal public key list, one key per line.
- Nostr npub list, one identifier per line, generated from the same keys.
- CSV with hex key, npub, profile-supplied display name, public profile link, last observed qualifying activity, and evidence-check date. Names are profile claims, not certified identities.

Each format contains the same 1,000 accounts in the original order. You pay for the research, validation, filtering, and organization of public information, not ownership of the identifiers or exclusive access to these accounts.

These are public identifiers, never private keys. No accounts are automatically followed and no existing follow list is modified. Import compatibility with specific Nostr clients has not been verified. There is no promise of follow-backs.

**How the list was researched**

Research began with active, well-connected discovery accounts and expanded outward through their public follows and indexed followers. Further rounds followed screened active followers into adjacent communities. Across those passes, 24,293 candidate account keys were collected before the final 1,000 were selected. The discovery process was deliberately broader than a single popularity page.

Every selected account passed these evidence checks:

- **Substantive recent activity:** at least three observed authored notes with meaningful text within the preceding 60 days. Of the selected accounts, 993 had qualifying observed activity within 30 days. Bare links and short acknowledgments did not satisfy the substantive-text threshold.
- **Verified event authorship:** Nostr event IDs and Schnorr signatures were checked. The minimum 3,000 qualifying note signatures were checked again before export. This verifies that the account key signed the events; it does not certify someone's offline identity.
- **Signed social connections:** each account had connections with at least two distinct reviewed discovery seeds, derived from the latest signed follow lists observed during research. An index's follower suggestion alone was insufficient, and mutual links counted only once. The final connection gate used 146 reviewed seeds.
- **Personal participation:** public profiles and sampled authored-post excerpts were reviewed for substantive participation. Declared bots, AI identities, organization accounts, and product-only feeds were excluded from this people-focused collection.
- **Pornography and spam screening:** retrieved text was checked for explicit-content signals, adult solicitation, automation, repetition, and long comments duplicated across authors. Available profile imagery and up to three sampled post images were checked through automated nudity triage and visual review. Unresolved explicit-content flags, unavailable sampled media, and video-bearing samples requiring further inspection were held out.
- **Independent corroboration and integrity:** Primal supplied the primary research coverage; a separate Snort relay supplied additional recent-note evidence for 473 selected accounts. Final checks confirmed exactly 1,000 distinct, correctly formatted account keys and a matching evidence ledger.

**Limitations and scope**

This is paid curation of publicly available account identifiers. You receive the researched selection, not exclusive access to the accounts. No affiliation or endorsement by the listed users, Primal, or Snort is implied.

The accounts passed the stated anti-spam and pornography checks in inspected samples. Screening is not exhaustive across entire timelines or future posts; animated media was inspected at its first frame. Pseudonyms and playful personas are included, so 1,000 distinct account keys do not certify 1,000 distinct people. Activity and interests can change after the research date.
