TL;DR: A proposed non-iterative alternative to classical hash designs, built around parallel processing followed by sequential XOR combination.

About This Document

Abdallah Abouchouar, Fouzia Omary, and Khadija Achkoun begin from cryptanalysis of recurring hash-function structures. They propose a different domain-extension design intended to fit distributed systems and newer hardware without changing the core purpose of a cryptographic hash.

Why Bitcoin People May Care

This construction is not used by Bitcoin. It belongs here because Bitcoin makes hash design operationally important: proof of work, block linkage, transaction identifiers, and integrity all depend on very specific cryptographic assumptions. Alternative designs make those assumptions easier to see.
