Ancient Web: AJFroggie followed highways into the paperwork

Created: Last edited:
Adam Froehlig’s route research collects old maps, plans, alignments, and explanations for why roads were built—or never built. Highway history is full of renumberings and proposals that vanished before pavement; a specialist page preserves the evidence behind the interchange that looks oddly overbuilt. The road changes slowly. The site can disappear overnight.
