Numbered images name the stars, nebulae, comets, eclipses, and aurorae inside each frame. A dated sequence follows Mars against the Hyades and Pleiades from 1990–91; the sky’s motion becomes a browsable record, not anonymous thumbnails. The captions are part of the observatory. Please admire the photographs without assuming they’re free to reuse.
