# Linux 7.4 Adds Dynamic PAMT for Intel Servers

Dynamic PAMT is merged into Linux 7.4 for Intel TDX servers. It reduces memory overhead by allocating metadata dynamically instead of a fixed 0.4% of RAM. Most impactful on Xeon servers with low virtual machine activity.
